Riverbank Finance is a locally owned independent mortgage broker in Grand Rapids, MI. We offer residential home loans for both refinancing and new home purchases. As a true mortgage broker, our lending partners compete for our business by offering our clients a wide varitey of home loan options at some of the lowest rates in the industry. Our home loan options include a line-up of loan programs for perfect credit borrowers and even clients with bumps in their credit past.

Our staff of highly trained, experienced mortgage professionals make the mortgage process easy while providing a high level of customer service. We hire only the best licensed loan officers and hand pick our employees to ensure they fit our high standard of ethics. Anthony Bird and Joshua Woodwyk founded Riverbank Finance LLC in 2011. Our purpose was to provide a combination of low rates and fees with a wide range of produces as a true independent mortgage broker. Both owners are active in the operations of the company on a day to day basis and are producing loan officers.

Riverbank is not a mega bank or online only lender where you cannot reach a person with a phone call. Tomas F. is absolutely amazing, and I’m so thankful he was my loan officer. As a first-time homebuyer, I had a lot to learn, and he walked me through every step of the process, taking the time to educate and guide me along the way. There were definitely some stressful moments, but Tomas was always there as my advocate. He prepared my file so thoroughly before underwriting that the processor and underwriter already had everything they needed, making the underwriting phase smooth and surprisingly quick. If rates drop, I already plan to refinance with Tomas. I trust him completely and am confident that he will handle my file with the same care, diligence, and professionalism. I am not sure where to start. First I was turned down by 3 banks because I owned a Manufactured Home. I was about to give up when Tomas Frezghi from Riverbank Finance came into my life. He assured me he could help, though I had my doubts. My home was built before Hud took over, which made a loan on it almost impossible. I am a widow on social security and my credit score was just OK. He led me step by step. Always answered my text in a very timely manner, and today I have my loan and on the best possible terms. If you need someone to be in your corner and think a loan is impossible, don't give up. Call Tomas and just talk to him. Let him spin his magic.
